Who is Brow It Yourself best suited for?
Brow It Yourself products are designed to be easy, beginner-friendly, and accessible, no matter your age, skill level, gender, hair type, or experience.
Every kit includes step-by-step tutorials, explained slowly and clearly, so you can confidently follow along and achieve salon-quality results from home.
Because your safety matters, we recommend reading all warnings before purchasing. Certain medications, skincare products, or skin conditions may not be suitable for waxing.
Is this beginner friendly?
Yes! However, for beginners we strongly recommend starting with one of our kits, as it includes everything you need (products, tools, and step-by-step tutorials) to help you feel confident and achieve the best results.
We also recommend watching the full tutorial before starting, and completing a patch test prior to using any products.
Do I need experience to use the kit?
No. However, we do recommend watching the tutorials before using your kit, so you fully understand each step and feel confident with the process before getting started.
What’s included in the kit?
Each kit may vary depending on which one you purchase. However, all Brow It Yourself kits include an organiser case, all products required to complete your service, and all necessary disposables.
Every kit also includes a QR code that gives you access to step-by-step tutorials via our website.
How long does it take?
Timing will vary depending on which service you are performing, as well as your skill level and experience.
If you are new to waxing, tinting, or dyeing and have purchased a kit, we recommend allowing 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how slowly or confidently you’d like to work through each step.
Where do I watch the tutorials?
Tutorials can only be accessed once you have purchased a kit or purchased the tutorials individually. (Even our free tutorial requires checkout at $0 so we can capture your email and ensure you have access.)
To view your tutorials, you can either:
- Hover over “Tutorials” in the main menu and select “View My Tutorials”, or
- Scan the QR code included in your order.
Both options will take you to a login page where you’ll enter your email address. A one-time login code will then be sent to your email (so there’s no need to remember a password). Once logged in, your tutorials will be available to access anytime.

Are the tutorials step by step?
Yes. Each tutorial begins with an introduction, followed by clear instructions on how to complete a patch test (highly recommended at least 24 hours before using your products for the first time).
From there, the tutorial will guide you step-by-step through the full process for the kit you have purchased.
Each section is separated into easy-to-follow categories, making it simple to pause and come back at any time. For example, instructions on how to practise waxing and heat your wax pot are in a separate section from the mapping process.
At the end of every tutorial, we also include recommended aftercare tips to help you achieve the best results and longest-lasting wear.
Can I pause and re-watch the videos?
Yes! Once you’ve purchased your tutorial, you’ll have 12 months of access to view it. You can watch it as many times as you like. As mentioned above, the tutorials are divided into subcategories, so you can always return and re-watch only the sections you need. The login process will remain the same throughout.
